Keynote speaker and Hall of Fame wrestler

Choose to be a champion.

Life knocks everyone down. What matters is who you are when you get back up. I speak at sales kickoffs, sales meetings and leadership events. Everyone in the room leaves with a Champion’s Identity™ that holds under pressure.

About Richie Rotten

I’m Richie Rotten, a keynote speaker and Hall of Fame wrestler.

I was told I’d never make it, and I rose anyway. A Hall of Fame wrestling career taught me that you can’t always control what happens to you, but you can control how you respond. I’ve been counted out, and I chose to get up. That’s what I teach.

Why people fold under pressure

Under pressure, people fall back on who they believe they are.

Everyone’s carrying something and pretending they’re fine. A loss, a health scare, a job that falls through, a season where nothing goes right. When life knocks you down, you fall back on how you see yourself. Some people get back up. Others listen to the voice telling them to stay down. The gap is belief, and people carry it into every part of their lives, work included.

A good feeling from a speech fades by Monday. A Champion’s Identity™ changes how you see yourself, think and show up, and it holds no matter what’s happening around you. That takes someone who won’t go easy on you, someone who has been counted out too. When that identity takes hold, belief comes back. People rise instead of folding, at home and at work. Their teams perform under pressure.

Champion’s Identity™

Champion’s Belief

A Champion’s Identity™ has four parts. Together they shape how you respond when life knocks you down.

Part one

Belief

You believe in yourself first, no matter who does or does not believe in you.

Part two

Perspective

Say ‘I get to’ instead of ‘I have to.’ See challenges as stepping stones instead of roadblocks, and be grateful for the small things.

Part three

Choice

At any moment, you have the power to make a different choice. Every choice you make helps develop who you will become.

Part four

Response

When you get knocked down, you control what you do next. You get up and take the next step.

Your people build a Champion’s Identity™, a lasting change in how they see themselves, think and show up when the pressure is on. It holds when they get knocked down and everything is on the line. The pressure stays, and they become the people who rise to meet it.

Three keynotes, one Champion’s Identity™

Three keynotes built on one idea: you can’t always control what happens to you, but you can control how you respond. Each one lands like a main event, and your team keeps performing under pressure long after it.

A keynote that changes identity, not just energy

Anyone can fire people up for an afternoon. I give them a new identity to move forward in and the belief to back it. That’s what still works months later.

A good afternoon that fades

You’ve sat through the motivational speaker before. The room got loud, and a week later nothing had changed. Most of them talk about peak performance. Almost none teach you how to respond the moment life knocks you down.

A change that holds under pressure

I develop a Champion’s Identity™, a change in how you see yourself, think and show up. It’s backed by a Hall of Fame career spent performing under pressure in front of live crowds. The keynote lands like a main event, and your people still perform under pressure long after the room clears.

One-on-one coaching to get back up and perform under pressure

One-on-one mindset coaching for when life has knocked you down and you’re ready to get back up.

Coaching helps you

Manage stress and anxiety

Believe in yourself again

Choose the identity you move forward in

Workshops that help teams perform when it counts

Resilience workshops that help teams get back on their feet and perform when it counts.

Built on the four parts

Belief and Perspective for teams after a hard stretch

Choice and Response for teams heading into a big quarter

A deeper session after the keynote, so the four parts stick

I’m here to show people that when life knocks them down, they get to choose who they are when they get back up.

What you can count on when you book me

Authenticity

I tell your people the hard truth they need to hear, because that’s what changes them.

Belief First

I believe in your people before they believe in themselves, in every room, and I keep pushing until they do.

Main Event Experience

Every talk is a Main Event Experience, built to change how people think, what they believe and who they become.

Lasting Change

I change who your people believe they are, so the change is still there long after the event.

Champion quotes from Richie Rotten

Your next move matters more than your last mistake

Richie Rotten

Pressure doesn’t create identity, pressure reveals it

Richie Rotten

A champion’s mindset isn’t built by what goes right. It is built by what you refuse to surrender to.

Booking questions: cost, process and fit

Keynote speaker cost, booking and fit: what leaders ask before booking Richie Rotten

Who is the keynote for?

Richie Rotten works with leaders and teams who face high-stakes moments, including sales teams heading into a kickoff.

They lead people who are carrying more than they show, and they need those people to hold up when the pressure hits.

This is not the right fit if you want a good afternoon that fades, or a speaker who tells people what they want to hear.

How is Richie Rotten different from a motivational speaker?

Richie Rotten delivers a Main Event Experience, backed by a Hall of Fame wrestling career, and the change lasts after the event.

Most speakers fire a room up for an afternoon. Richie develops a Champion’s Identity™, a real change in how people see themselves, think and show up.

See how it works on the Champion’s Identity page.

How much does it cost to book Richie Rotten?

Richie’s speaking fee is quoted for each event. Send your date through the Book Richie form and he’ll reply with his fee.
